Boston Logan International Airport Train Transfers
There are several transfer options to get to or from Logan International Airport (BOS), and which one is best for you depends on where you are going to or from in the Boston area.
Before heading to the choice that suits you best please remember to collect your entire luggage from the baggage claim area in your arrival hall before exiting airside.
Blue Line Subway
The Blue Line Subway departs from the Airport Station to State Street Station where it connects to the Orange Line.
This is the best option of transfer to the following locations:
- Back Bay
- Boston College
- Boston University
- Brookline
- Downtown Boston
- Fenway Park
- The Longwood Medical Area
- Newton
- Northeastern University
To transfer between the Airport Station and the airport terminals board the free Massport shuttle buses routes 22, 33 or 55.
Tickets, called CharlieTicket, are purchased at the ticket machines inside the Airport Station. The CharlieTicket is then inserted in a turnstile to access the station platform. Ticket price is less than $3 for a single journey for an adult.
The Blue Line Subway operates from approximately 6.00AM to 12.30AM all days of the week.
